At Pomodoro, ordering used to mean catching a waiter's eye and waiting your turn. Now there is a QR code on the table. Guests scan it, browse the menu, place the order and pay from their own phone, and the chaos that came with manual ordering is gone.
Pomodoro has built its following in Islamabad one table at a time. The dining room was never the problem — reaching it was. Getting an order from the guest's head into the kitchen was where the friction lived.
Before RestaurantOS, every order at Pomodoro was taken manually. A guest sat down, waited for someone to be free, gave the order across the table and hoped nothing got lost on its way to the kitchen. On a full evening that waiting multiplied. Staff moved from table to table taking dictation, guests sat with menus closed and hands raised, and the busiest hours turned into the messiest ones.
The order depended on us reaching the table. When the restaurant filled up, the guest's evening started with a wait.
Cowlar's team enabled QR ordering for Pomodoro on RestaurantOS, tied directly into the payment process. Every table carries a code. A guest scans it, gets the full menu on their phone, builds the order and pays right there. The order lands in the system the moment it is placed, with nobody writing anything down and nothing repeated across the room.

removed from the loop
Guests now move from scan to payment in one continuous flow.
The guest does not have to wait for anyone now. They sit down, scan and order, and it is already with us.
Manual ordering carried a certain amount of noise with it, and Pomodoro has switched it off. Guests order the moment they are ready instead of when a waiter is available, remotely from their own seat. Payment happens in the same flow, so the end of the meal is as smooth as the start. And the team, freed from running order-taking rounds, spends the evening on the part of the job a phone cannot do, looking after the people in the room.
We killed the chaos. The QR code took over the order taking, and we took back the hospitality.
See how RestaurantOS can transform your operations the way it did Pomodoro's.
